CARB-X (Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator) is a global no-profit public-private partnership dedicated to accelerating the development of innovative products to prevent, diagnose, and treat dangerous bacterial infections. CARB-X was created by the United States and Wellcome in 2016 and is currently funded by a global consortium of governments and private foundations.
