Advancing innovation to save lives

GHTC is the premier advocacy organization focusing on research and development (R&D) of new global health technologies. We are a coalition of more than 45 nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and aligned businesses advancing policies to accelerate the creation of new drugs, vaccines, diagnostics, and other tools that bring healthy lives within reach for all people.

Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and our members and housed at PATH, the coalition promotes policy solutions that support R&D across a range of global health areas, from HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis to epidemic preparedness, maternal and child health, neglected tropical diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and more.
