GHTC issues statement on antimicrobial resistance at HHS WHA listening session
GHTC issued a statement at the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) World Health Assembly (WHA) Stakeholder Listening Session welcoming the World Health Organization’s (WHO) efforts to combat antimicrobial drug resistance (AMR). The statement, issues with PATH, calls on the US government to support these efforts, with a focus on prioritizing development of a range of new tools, as well as to support the establishment of the Global Antimicrobial Surveillance System.
