GHTC joined a civil society statement at the 74th World Health Assembly calling on the World Health Organization (WHO) and member states to strengthen vaccine-related research and innovation with the most vulnerable populations in mind and increase investment in R&D for new health technologies to fight antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The statement, issued through the Global Health Council, urges WHO and member states to support research on the full spectrum of product needs, including vaccine administration, storage, and delivery innovations, as well as new antimicrobials, diagnostics, and vaccines to address the threat of AMR.
