In an article exploring global health R&D needs beyond HIV/AIDS, BioWorld cites GHTC's report Saving lives and creating impact, which found nearly 60 percent of US funding for global health R&D is dedicated to HIV/AIDS research. GHTC's Director Kaitlin Christenson is quoted.

GHTC, Policy Cures stress importance of all stages of research

GHTC and Policy Cures recently called on the US Government to fund all stages of research—from early, basic research stages to later stage clinical trials—to create global health tools such as vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, microbicides, and devices in a letter-to-the-editor in BMJ.
