GHTC endorsed letters to House and Senate appropriators from the Defense Health Research Consortium urging continued support for defense health research programs funded through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs in the fiscal year 2020 budget.

GHTC delivers statement on access to medicines at HHS WHA listening session

GHTC delivered a statement at the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) World Health Assembly (WHA) Stakeholder Listening Session encouraging the US delegation to support a comprehensive approach to addressing barriers to accessing essential technologies. GHTC welcomed ongoing efforts by the World Health Organization (WHO) to strengthen regulatory systems to accelerate access and urged the US delegation to support the expansion of WHO’s Essential Diagnostic list.
