ViewGHTC endorsed a call to action to world leaders urging additional funding and support for the development and implementation of COVID-19 diagnostics.
ViewGHTC submitted feedback on white paper released by Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN), chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, outlining proposals to shape pandemic preparedness legislation to be considered by the committee this year. GHTC provided a number of policy recommendations to strengthen the health R&D ecosystem, including improving coordination between R&D agencies and increasing funding for R&D for naturally-occurring threats at the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.
