Researchers discover compound that could lead to new treatments for sleeping sickness

British and Canadian scientists have discovered a compound that could lead to new treatments for African sleeping sickness, which is spread by the bite of the tsetse fly and infects between 50,000 and 70,000 people each year in sub-Saharan Africa. See the news articles below for more information.
