Antibodies contribute to dengue-associated disease

Researchers at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology have confirmed a hypothesis that antibodies—which typically help the body fend off infection—actually contribute to a severe dengue-associated disease. The finding could help develop the first vaccine for dengue. See the links below for more information.
